Named after the shallow but vital river that flows through it, this park draws vast populations of game during the dry season. It is distinguished by ancient Baobab trees as they claw at the sky with their root-like branches, a sight that is breathtaking and uniquely African.

During the Dry Season, the park fills with herds of Zebra, Wildebeest and Kongomi, but you can spot Eland, Lesser kudu, Gazelle, Buffalo, Giraffe, Waterbuck, Impala, Elephant, Leopard and Rhino all year round.
